Specifications: The Sony HTCT100 consist of a sound bar and separate subwoofer unit. It also comes with built-in DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II and Dolby Digital encoder, so there is no need for a separate AV receiver. This model is a 3.1-channel surround sound system and use the advanced S-Force. It has a total power of 250 watts of audio output, which is more than enough room for small and medium-sized enterprises. The subwoofer produces 100 watts low, while the sound-barcomposed of three channels of 50 watts.
Design: The Sound Bar, Sony HTCT100 is a bit 'smaller than other models on the market, measured at only 2.75 x 2.6 x 31.5 cm. Both the soundbar and subwoofer have a black exterior. The subwoofer looks a little '"expensive" with a vinyl surface mat. All system ports, inputs and connections are located behind the subwoofer. Here you'll find three HDMI ports, a stereo analog input, a Digital Media Port and a few otherPorts.
Features and performance: Considering this is only a small 3.1-channels, not expecting much from the sound quality (just knew that there would be a big surprise). We have seen a few concerts and live action movie with HTCT100 Sony and the sound quality was just amazing, even with those of 5.1-channel systems. It 'a shame that only supports four AV sources, such as would otherwise prove to be a formidable system. The systemwas very easy to set up and compact design makes it easy to match the sound bar on every corner on your hi-fi or TV stand. For its reasonable price, good design and impressive performance, I would like the audio system Sony HTCT100 4 stars (out of 5).
